Flotilla 1 7 is committed to providing the boating public with superior educational opportunities. Each U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary course provides instruction to boaters at all levels, from the fundamental to the advanced.

Our classes are taught by experienced and knowledgeable instructors committed to the highest standards of the U. S. Coast Guard.

Multiple Student Discount Fee

A simplified fee structure is in place to provide a discount for multiple family members residing in the same household, registering at the same time. For detailed information on specific courses, refer to the information listed below.

About Boating Safely

$45.00 for the first person registered.
$20.00 additional for second person registered.
$10.00 addtional for each child under 18 years old registered.
Includes one book for up to 2 registrants.
Includes two books for more than 2 registrants.
$20.00 NON-Refundable Pre-Registration fee required per person.

GPS For Mariners

$30.00 for the first person registered.
$15.00 additional for second person registered.
This advanced course is designed for adult students.
